The MB dealerships here won't entertain coding anything on the vehicle that isn't supposed to be enabled or disabled for NAR. Doesn't matter how much you offer. Sadly doesn't seem to be any real support outside of the dealer network either.

If anyone interested, BMW part number for this screw is "34211161806".
EBAY sells a pair for less than $6.

Looks like that one might be for the rear. I am seeing part number 34111123072 for the fronts.

That blows, sounds like an overly cautious dealership (I've had my fair share!). So I just picked the car up. The guys couldn't get to the middle brake line and it wasn't worth all the labor $$ to change them out right now (I'll worry about it next year when I'm hauling an RV through the mountains).

These are 20 in staggered x6m rims on dws's . The brakes are SUPER "squishy", but bite just fine. The turning with the new 20' wheels has a "sway" effect when I run HARD into a turn vs my old 19' run flats I had on. The dealer will code/flash modules with updates on Monday accordingly. i.e. new rotors/brakes/wheel size, etc.

Does anyone know if this "flash" is capable of removing the speed limiter?

The dealer definitely won't code out the speed limiter. Definitely less stiff of a side wall on those DWS when compared to RFT I think so maybe that's what you're feeling. Either way nice looking MPBK.

Speed limit can be removed only for the first 10 motor-hours. After it DME locks itself. And than it's a lot of trouble to get inside, get the chip out, wipe it and solder it back.

It is not just the one it is network-wide. MB/USA is very strict on policy but if you ever serviced with them you would understand why. They really do stand by the vehicles providing they have not been modified or altered in any way. When other Marques are blaming customer or wear and tear or improper use MB just replaces. I've had trim pieces, bezels, and other items repaired without question or hesitation through MB where Audi has fought me on it or denied claims however once MB sees vehicles have been altered or modified they do not stand by anything. It is all on you. Even if the dealership completed the work. The only "warranty friendly" bits are by RennTech. One of the dealers I service with is a RennTech vendor and they will warranty if you buy and install through them.

Looks like my next car will be MB. I’m really pissed of by how BMW handles warranty claims.

Try owning an Audi. Everything is denied or "user error".

I only purchase their real AMG/63 products but there is more than a fair share of bland femme BMW products on the road.

Confirming the part 34111123072. I have ordered both just in case, but 34111123072 is the one! Big thanks for that!

Yep! And then BMW ruined them with those rear calipers if you can call them that. They actually look smaller than the 50i calipers.

And yes, BMW has screwed up with the rear ones.
But then again, with all those plastic pieces - front, ass, fenders - what are we talking about? It screams "CHEAP EXTERIOR" non stop.

What calipers are on yours?
