Tire pressures

Does everyone stick with the recommend pressure on the inside of door or go closer to sidewalk of tire?

I have the 255/50/19 and the recommendations for front is lower then the rear. It seems like it will cause more un even wear than to just match the rear.

BMW engineers know better. I stick to whatever they tell me to do.

No, I have runflats front 275 -> 2,75 bar, rear 315 -> 2,95 bar. (pls recalculate for PSI)
Have found out that less pressure gives uneven wear n tear.

Don't forget to reset Tire pressures within the idrive if you mess with the PSI.

I believe the recommended pressure is higher in the rear due to towing capabilities.

Tire pressures in the door and/or in the manual are what's best for ride, wear and safety. Why mess with it?

I set the tire pressure to the door numbers seems fronts and backs wear pretty well. If I know I'll be driving a lot of spirited highway driving I'll increase all around a couple foot pounds.

There's a thread on this already but yes the manual has tons of tire pressure scenarios. Much more than the basic door pressures.
