Downpipes and cooling mods
I have a 16 F85 with BM3 Stage 1. I'm not overly impressed and need to go further.
Doing downpipes and going to Stage 2 seems to be my only option. What is the overall consensus on this? Is it just going to be louder or is there going to be a significant power increase? I own a performance Corvette shop and have the equipment to fabricate a lot of parts that others may not. I'm thinking of making larger heat exchangers or putting fans on the existing ones and building a larger coolant reservoir with a much higher capacity pump. Has anyone done this and, if so, what were the results? I notice a huge difference in power when hot vs. cold. I would think getting intake temps way down would help a lot. Does anyone run a lower temp thermostat and lower fan temps on these? I haven't even looked into that.

I was hoping to see someone post about switching to CSF coolers like the ones for the F10. Living in Hawaii makes me wonder if they make sense eventually - especially if I end up going to Pure turbos. I've been watching the F10 forums since that's where you see a lot more about pushing the S63tu.
