Looking for the fire extinguisher bracket

PN 82272351182

None of the usual online retailers have it available. Is there another way to get it? Any vendors import european only parts?

I have my extinguisher from my old X5 and I want to install it into the F15 but have struck out getting the bracket.

I have it fitted so just checked my purchase invoice and suppressingly the part number isn't on it. So unfortunately all I can do is confirm that there is one. I believe it comes as a kit with the passenger seat base carrier and actual fire extinguisher bottle.

Does it interfere with passenger comfort and legroom?

I could put you in contact with my friend and I am sure he can order it for you.

I had it under the driver's seat in my E53. No issues at all. I had the factory first aid kit under the passenger seat.

I'd appreciate it if you could reach out to your friend and see what he could get #3 for.

Thanks!

It is mostly under the front of the passenger seat with only the front part of the extinguisher showing (handle and release bracket). I have zero issues with it getting in the way and it's way safer and more convenient than it being insecure elsewhere in the vehicle!

Can you provide pics of the install? Just curious how much room is being used on the passenger side.

Not a valid part number in NAR system.
Do you have any other p/n?

if you find another p/n that is valid he can order it and ship it to you but that is not a valid number in his system.

Have you tried just contacting local parts department directly?

Here you go. Somehow the pics make it look more of an intrusion than it seems to be in reality. I guess it does extend more than I remembered without looking. But in reality it does need to extended out enough for the driver to lean over and remove it from his/her seat. I've had the F11 version and have it in my X1 too. Having had cause to use one in an emergency (luckily not me) I wouldn't be without one in any of my cars, and not just in the boot, right at hand in the passenger compartment.

I'm surprised BMW doesn't make it a factory option like Mercedes do. My E class was a nice install and it was in the driver seat base which I prefer. But I guess it does mean if not properly secured it might fly out and interfere with the peddles

Hope the pic are useful, please ignore the dirty matts

Thank you. I agree, this should actually be standard in all new vehicles sold worldwide and people should learn how to properly use them. I've witnessed people trapped in a burning vehicle and no one had a extinguisher to control the fire and nothing to break the windows to help the passengers out.
Unfortunately, they died....

No joy on this for me. Local dealer never responded to my request for the part.

Back to square one.

I'm pretty sure you can't just order the bracket kit on its on, you have to order the full kit, which includes an extinguisher, so I think this is why you are having problems.

I've got the kit installed in my 135i which doesn't stand out much being suitably colour coded to the seats

but, I'll be leaving the extinguisher in the car when its sold, as there's no point in taking the bottle out, as you can't order a new bracket on its own according to my dealers parts dept?
