Diesel US vs EU Intake-Air-Manifold / Alphabet Detele
Hi there,
I am "in need" of replacing the Intake Air Manifold on my X5 35D and came across different part numbers for the Euro Model and the US Model and was wondering if anybody knew if they were indeed different parts or actually the same. The drawings seem to be identical (see below) . I tried to clean the Manifold about 15k miles ago but it was quite the nightmare and not possible to really get it clean ... I am finally going to have the Alphabet Detele done in the next few weeks and figured I'd get a new and clean Manifold as well to go with it. On the journey to find one for a decent price I came across a shop in Europe that sells one "dirt" cheap from a vehicle that was wrecked after a few hundred km driven... The part numbers are different though ... what stopped me from purchasing it... hoping maybe somebody here has any input... USA 11618514731 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...731&series=F15 EURO 11617811909 https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...909&series=F15 THANKS! |
