Best braking performance option for f86?
Brembo BBK 1Q2.9609A2 front and brembo 2P2.9010A2 rear
Or front CCB rotors and pads from RK autowerks and rear oem? Any better suggestions? |

No one? Anyway as per my research, here is all the options:
1. Rk autowerks Ccb rotors and pads with oem caliper front and oem for back 2. Brembo BBK GT 3. Oem CCB brakes from m6 for the front and oem ccb brakes from m4 for the back (yeah, they will fit) I'm inclined to an option 3. |

.. to reduce noise and dust for sure, but also improve performance a little. All that went good enough, but not at the end - front pads start eating my rotors, because of the aggressive driving and overheating. Finally, because of that ABS error occurred and brake pedal fall down without any back pressure and actual braking. Back rotors and pads still good, no dust or noise - they from Power stop Z26. Front rotors glazed and I got some experience - if you driving fast, don't apply custom pads only and change whole brakes, if you need better preformance... I mean, if this happen to anyone you have couple options: really better braking system, lighter car like m4 or buy tesla with autopilot and piano music. |

There are OEM "race" pads that BMW makes and sells in Europe. I don't think they are available at US dealers. I have a set in my basement... I never did track my X6M.
"...to reduce noise and dust for sure, but also improve performance a little..." I don't think those things generally go together. If you want increased performance, you are probably going to have more noise and more dust. Brake compounds are compromises. If there was an ideal "zero dust, zero noise, serious increase in performance*" compound, then BMW would probably already be using it. *Cold Performance (street) is also a different compound than Hot Performance (track). I'd suggest talking to Dave Zeckhausen. www.zeckhausen.com
