LBB feelings after some time
Shopping for X5M for my wife and pushing LBB. She prefers Jerez (or is it carbon black?) but is open to LBB. Anyone regret it after a few years and feel it's too young, loud, or boy racerish? We will prob own 6-8 years so wondering if anyone regrets after a couple years? And why?

I've had mine for three years and love it. I don't think you will have any regrets. It doesn't even stand out as much as you think and it definitely doesn't look too young. It's a perfect color if you are willing to go with something less conventional ("boring"). I am shopping for an x7 to replace my x6 after my lease ends and would have loved to have LBB as a color option.

LBB is really growing on me the more I research. We need some "pop" in our garage as we currently have: E36 M3 in Arctic Silver E39 M5 in Carbon Black E92 M3 in Alpine White 957 Cayenne GTS in Crystal Silver (this would be replaced by X5M) Thanks guys, starting to refine the search parameters...

We have very similar collections!
- silver '99 m3 w/ black interior - midnight blue '05 Lotus Elise w/ black interior --> sold - chrome orange '05 Lotus Elise w/ black interior - lemans blue '02 m5 w/ caramel interior - estoril blue '99 m3 w/ mulberry interior - fire orange '11 m3 w/ black interior - lbb '16 x5m w/ aragon interior After the silver m3 for 5 - 6 years and then getting the chrome orange Elise, it kind of made me appreciate colorful cars. IMO, there's an extra giddiness I get when I see it in a parking lot that I don't think I would get if it wasn't a color with pop. Quote:

I wanted LBB, but couldn't find one without the SS interior which was a deal breaker.
FWIW, I also had hesitations about buying a "louder" color, but it's not like there aren't plenty of other blue cars on the road. If you like it, go for it!
