Extended warranty cover master cylinder?
Does anyone know that the extended warranty will cover the master cylinder? Its like a train with air sound when I pressed on the brake. Believe its the master cylinder. How much is it if not cover and part cost?

Thinking about buying a warranty to cover the failure, not a bad move All warranty companies want you to wait 3 months and 1000 miles before the plan gets effective.
It would also depends on the warranty company and the type of plan purchased to see if the brake parts be covered or not. |

Had the brake booster replaced under BMW platinum extended warranty for my wifes previous car so I don't see why not guess it depends on what type of warranty you have. Are you sure its your master cylinder because some dealers will charge you a diagnostic fee (hourly) if they can't find anything to fix while under BMW's extended warranty which can add up to hours and hundreds of dollars.

Should be covered if it is the brake booster as well. Both are critical components so if braking system is covered, these items should be too.
I am also having a weird noise when pressing the pedal, not sure its acutal pad/rotor related or something else..hmmm |
