Any pics, before & after?

I'm having Eibach's/spacers installed tomorrow - I'm not a DIY'er like you, and I need some other stuff done anyway. And like you, I'm not counting on my wife to notice

Great call on the Eibach springs, you’ll love them. I have some before & after pics on my mod thread.

It's probably the easiest suspension that I've installed honestly.

I'll post before/after when the wheels get back from the shop!

Thanks, yes I've looked through your thread many times, one of the few that includes before/after pics with 21" OEM setup.

I've got some KWs on the way and I was trying to find a good DIY guide. I'm pretty sure I know what to do but would like to be 💯. Did you find a good guide or just already know what to do?

eBay lip, fitment is meh. Probably some errors on my part also, only used 3m tape and supplied hardware. It got a coat of Cquartz UK and a topper of Gliss to match the rest of the paint. Also, I need larger wheels as soon as winter is over lol.

I've changed out a bunch of them on my old BMWs. There are a couple of good references on here.

Rear just undo the shock bolt and endlink, pres on the rotor and pull the spring out.

Fronts it's just unplugging the two cables, pinch bolt, and the bottom strut bolt. Then the 3 on top and it comes out easy.

Left side always sits a tad higher to accommodate the driver, but a before and after. Eibach and painted reflectors. Once my wheels come back I'll throw up an update.

Happy with the drop, super subtle. it's my wife's car and she didn't even notice a change in the ride quality. I took it for a spirited canyon run and there is definitely less roll.

Awesome, thanks for posting! Subtle yes, but I can see a difference, and it always looks lower in person than pics, IMO. Plus the springs need to settle and then it'll sit a bit lower than it does now.

I pick mine up today after Eibach spring install + spacers. I didn't tell my wife either and the X5 is hers - I'll be curious if she notices either the height difference or how it drives, but I'm guessing she won't. So you'd say the ride around town (not pushing it on a canyon run as you did) is identical to stock?

I got mine back tonight and agree, there's zero compromise with the stock ride quality, though I definitely notice a much improved ride over bumps and way less sloppiness.

I measured height before & after, I'm currently sitting 3/4 lower in front, 1/2 inch in back. Considering the springs still need to settle, those measurements make sense as these springs are quoted at 1 inch in front, .6 in back. I could definitely see a visual change when I saw it.

No before pics since I had a summer/599M setup, & now back to winters/469s. Pics below include spacers - 5mm front, 15mm rear.

Are you guys getting an alignment done after spring install? What winter rubber are you running on the 469s?
