We need more info to help you out such as, Options list, Color/Combo, location, and warranty status (Original warranty, CPO or non-CPO)

If its from a BMW dealer its probably comparably priced, but you are paying a premium for the low miles and it may not be the smartest move. Not that there were many options on these cars, but they went minimal with the config. They are asking on the high end of a CPO car (but not giving a CPO warranty) and because of the super low miles and you would be hard pressed to find another with such low mileage. Its so low they won't CPO it so you are left with the remainder of factory warranty for which you need to know the in-service date to know how much time you have left, given its a 2018 it possible the in-service date could be in 2017. Since its a demo its probably always been in dealer possession so the Carfax isn't 100% trustworthy; never know if an exec drove the shit out of it or dealer did any repairs. You have room to negotiate, given the warranty status/non-CPO and new X5M coming. However if you found a 2018 or 2017 with 20-25K on the clock you would get a CPO warranty for 5 years unlimited miles and pay less (for more warranty coverage); something to consider that could save you serious cheddar for those mods.

Ok for sure it\'s a brand new car and for sure I\'m sure it\'s stunning. That said,

That said, you're gonna get killed on resale. By the time you're done with it, it's a $40K ride. By the time you're done with it, you'll probably be able to score the GO5 in the $60 range. I LOVE the F85, by far top 5 "check all boxes" car on the road. That said, for $80K I'd pass. |

I’d offer 75 and use the extra 5 or so to buy an extended BMW warranty. If this car was in a color combo more to my taste I’d consider buying it. I’m at lease end soon on my ‘17 and I’m tempted (but won’t) buy it off lease. Residual is 60ish and it’ll have 45k miles. I am not crazy about the new one. I think it’s a bit of an eyesore in the front. And those hideous gauges yikes. Plus it hurts to buy first model year...glitches, less options than in the future, less ability to get a decent deal. Good luck.

If I were you, I'd find a '17 with the color combo I want. (since '17 and on has wireless charging and apple carplay) The specific one you're looking at already has full leather - a plus. but I'd look for one with CF interior trim and Bang/Olufsen - if buying brand new, B/O probably isn't worth it, but since buying used, let someone else take that depreciation for you.
I'd use some of that $$$ you save for mods, extended warranty, etc. Just my 0.02 cents. |

How about this one
2017 F85 X5M Melbourne Red over Aragon Brown (rare!), only 20K miles, fully loaded (DA+, Exec, B&O, 21's, Apple CarPlay, etc). The selling dealer in BMW Seattle - I'm headed there in the morning to pick up my M3 following some maintenance work, I'm happy to look it over for you, but I'm sure it's it near perfect condition. https://cpo.bmwusa.com/used/2017-BMW...8897?zip=98072 |

And I shouldn't have said 'fully loaded' - I actually loathe that term on the forums - it's almost never true. This one is missing the rear seat entertainment package & night vision pedestrian detection. I think it has everything else? Even then, rear seat entertainment and night vision are pretty rare, even on the X5M. |
