Guys thank you for your posts. I have read all the stuff here considering RaceChips. Lot of explanation how it works etc. I just have one question for all. The thing which I didn't understand is who from you uses S1 and S2 in this order. For example when you write E2. I understand its S1=E and S2=2. But I think it should be other way. S1=2 (approx 26% more power) and S2=E. Am I right? This is important info. Thank you all. |

If you are running at 03 that means you are running aprox. at 22% more power. I am writing like I understod the racechip tech. And that is confusing to me. Because Paicapo when he was trying the max of the chip he was moving S1=2,3,4(position) and S2=E(stayed in this). That makes sense considering the response I got from racechip.
This is how they described how it works: Ria V. (RaceChip) Sep 4, 09:51 Hi again, only S1 regulates the performance and every position is an increase of about 1,5 %. So default position 'E' is an increase of about 20 %, '0' about 22 %, '2' about 25 % and so on. Dial "S2" regulates the RPM range in which the RaceChip is active and also when it is being deactivated again. On our default setting it is active between 1500- 3500 RPM. Every additional dial change with S2 increases the active range by about 150 RPM. We recommend not exceeding position '3' or '4'. |
