Hello all,

I started my search for a 2016-2018 X5 35D to replace my wife's current car and to add another diesel to the family. I am looking to spend around $35k and located in SoCal but willing to travel across the US for the right build/price. I am not in a rush but thought I ask here on the forums to see what's available.

I am looking for the build to have:
M sport
Any Interior color that is not Beige/White (Preferred Black/Mocha/Terra)
3rd Row seating
Driving Assistant
Driving Assistant Plus (Surround View)
Premium Package

Optional but a bonus if included:
Ventilated Seats
Heated seats rear
Soft Close Doors
Black 469M Wheels
Digital Dash
HK
Adaptive M Suspension
Parking Assistant

Thanks I will keep tabs on this particular X5 but as of now it is a bit out of the range where I would like to spend.

It's easier to find an X5 M, than an X5 D these days, especially if you need rare features.

QFT. We spend a year looking for exactly what you described StealthnShadow. In the end we ended up with an X line and had to forego the Msport but got most of the "luxury" features and adaptive stuff. Seems most diesel owners were not big on the Msport package. And if they opted for it, they did not opt for much else.

Tell me about it, there is a nice X5M not far from me for sale. I thought about taking the wife over this weekend to check it out but I already know what she is going to say:

Does it have a Third row seat?
Me: No
What's the gas mileage on it?
Me: 16/19 (in my head if lucky)

And after answering that she will be back on the train of thought of, let's wait for an X5 35D so we can get better gas mileage with an optional 3rd row.

But I still might go check it out. I just find it interesting there are so many X5Ms for sale right now in comparison, I really do wonder why.

I know right I have been looking throughout the country and the options for the combination of X5 35D, m sport and third row is very very slim. The ones I have found are like you said "not many options beyond those three," it will be a search but as I said prior I am not in a rush.

I am pretty open at this point in regards to mileage, obviously the lower the better but around 60k mileage or ideal would be less than 50k with an active warranty remaining.
