MSport Rocker Molding

Does anyone know if an installation guide exists to swap out my Xline? I just dropped my OEM Msport Rockers off to the body shop to be painted and I plan to DIY on the install. Is it difficult? I've tried searching for any guides or help, but my searches have not been fruitful.

Also can anyone confirm all I will need is 16x panel clips? Part # 51777171002

I would double check the part# for the panel clip. I was working under mine and noticed I was missing one. I ordered a bag of them with a part number 51-77-7-171-003

That part number references the m sport lower body/rocker panel clip and I can confirm it snapped right into place on mine MSport.

Thank you for the reply! I think the part numbers differ just for the color of the clips. One is white 51-77-7-171-002/other is black 51-77-7-171-003. Though I’m not sure if there were any others that need to be ordered or if I can reuse any of the other fasteners/bolts on the Msport from my Xline. I’ll have to do more digging. Thanks!!

Good distinction between the white clips vs. black clips. For reference, the clips are hidden from view unless you are under the car. Just as an fyi my X5 is space grey and has all black clips. My guess it's not critical to match body color.
