▀▄ eas | Lowered Alpine White F15 X5 M Sport
This is Orange County; we don't have dirt roads. Around here, it makes sense for an X5 owner to focus on improving the road handling while sacrificing some of the unnecessary off-road performance. By dropping the vehicle an inch and a half in the front and rear, the H&R sport lowering kit we installed reduces unwanted body roll, firms-up the handling and gives the F15 a new, sporty stance. While it was in the shop, we also installed iND's painted kidney grilles along with front reflectors to further improve the looks of this beautiful X5 xDrive50i.
Modifications: H&R Sport Lowering Springs (Springs in the Front, Lowering Links in the Rear) iND Painted Front Reflectors iND Painted Kidney Grilles

Love the stance but those wheel offsets from the factory, man....Horrible...3 inches inside the fender and look tiny....

It looks like HRE or some other Forged wheels. If it is, they can always be cut to spec for F15.

My honest opinion is that the F15 looks more like a mini van when you lower it unless you put on some 21-22" wheels on it to fill out the wheel wells.
Those 20"s looks tiny right now and desperate need for some spacers at the very minimum. Alan

What's the point of having a SUV if you are going to lower it. You get rid of the ground clearance, the elevated view out of the vehicle (basically the main purposes of having a SUV), and the stock wheels look horrible due to the camber anyway. Personally why not just get a 5-series instead? Similar passenger volume, better handling, better fuel economy, and already much lower to the ground. To each their own I guess.

I hate being negative, but everyone that pointed out the visual faults of your setup are correct. Your car right now has a ricer look . The wheels def need to be bigger or spaced out in the back because it has an awkward stance right now - as if there's a bunch of heavy stuff in your trunk weighing it down. Take a look at r33's car; his car actually sits better without looking like it's too big for the wheels, and I'm pretty sure you guys have the same wheels. I'm honestly shocked at how people have not been more honest with you about how odd it looks. Again, sorry for the negativity, just being really honest. You have a beautiful car...and of course it's yours to do what you want with it.

Have to agree with the negative feedback. It doesn't look as good as I thought it would when I read the title. Makes the 20's look small and thus the car looks awkward that low. Also agree it's an SUV, don't get the point of lowering it.
