New tyres
I drive a BMW X6 2016 I have run flats pirelli 315/35 r20 rear 275/40 r20 front tyres. I want to get rid of the runflats. Any recommendation on this and also what tyres will be better to use other than the run flats?
I hope this makes sense. Any help much appreciated. |

Michelin PS4S would be the best summer only non-runflat but honestly just about anything is an upgrade from PZeros. I saw on tire rack that continental has a few tires in our sizes in non runflats that are reasonably priced.

I just went from the square 19" msport wheels with crap Goodyear LS runflats to staggered 20s with 275 front 315 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires and let me tell you that is one worthwhile upgrade! It's an amazing all season tire although I'll use it 3 seasons and run Nokian SUV winter tires on the 19s the rest of the time.
Read up on the development of the Michelins. They're standard on the C8 Corvette if you don't chose a summer option and they manged to pull over 1.0g skidpad on an all season tire while also acheiving superior wear and better than average ice & snow traction / stopping all in a rear engine sports car. Good enough for that then good enough for my X5. |
