The Search Is Over

I am feeling exactly like this right now:

I have been searching for the "perfect" X5 for some time now, and I've finally found it. The check has been sent, and all that remains is for the car to get delivered to me.

I am the proud new owner of a 2015 X5 50i with M Sport package in Carbon Black (my favorite non-M BMW color) and 34K miles. It's a CPO, and I still have 1 more year of free maintenance on it too. Purchased from BMW Northwest in Tacoma, WA.

Rather than writing its loooong list of options, I'll just attach an image of the original sticker options list. It's pretty loaded

Disclaimer:
I recognize this may not be everyone's idea of the perfect X5, but for me, it's exactly the right options combo. While having DHP would cool, if I want dynamic handling, I drive my M3. Arguably the only option that would be cool to have is night vision, but realistically, I've never had NV before, and I don't really care that much one way or the other.

Now the agonizing wait begins until it's finally delivered to me (using Angels Moving Autos and doing enclosed shipping). Dying. I will post pics as soon as it arrives. so so so happy.

Thanks! Believe me, I've got a growing mods list already. First I think it'll be the RaceChip RS and X5 M air filter. I'll reach out to you when the time comes.

Not sure I would have held out for concierge services, but, if you really had your mind set on it...

Curious though if you held out for B&O or if that was a bonus.

I find this type of response weird... the problem here is that while you are driving the X5 you won't be driving the M3...
So you are still missing the awesome handling capabilities of the X5 with a DHP.

Nice find! How much did you get it for? I'm having trouble opening the photo of the sticker larger to be able to read it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Looks like CWP, DA+, Active cruise, Exec, B&O sound, Msport, 3rd row+ rear air susp, active steering, ventilated seats, concierge services, Enhanced BT, and Rear entertainment.

You've sort of got it the other way around. BMW Concierge is a bonus, but I'm not passionate about having it - though it's a nice to have. I definitely held out for B&O. If I found all the other options except B&O, and the deal was a total killer, I may have considered it, but as it stands, I was really happy to get it.

Haha thanks. I understand exactly what you mean, though the X5 will get some pretty utilitarian use.
It's a preference thing, really. I will definitely mod it, and at some point maybe even do some suspension mods that beat what you can get from OEM, but the reality for me is that, no matter how good DHP is, you're still driving around in a 5,000lb SUV. You can't beat the laws of physics, no matter what you do.
So, I have my E46 M3 and my modded E30 for spirited weekend driving

Thanks man! $47K flat. Original sticker was $92K. I'm not sure why you can't see the photo well, it's hosted on Photobucket, so you should be able to right click and D/L.

Yep! I do like that I also get 4-zone climate and rear heated seats for any fussy passengers. Ventilated seats are a must in NOLA given how hot it gets here in the summer.
