F10 M5 Front Rotors on F85

Curious if anyone had done this. Rotors are only 5mm larger but I thought they might add some breaking power and give me more options as the m5 has more aftermarket brake parts.

Tronik sells a bracket for them.

What are your thoughts?

And here, I thought that the rotors for the M5 and X5M were the same. Go figure.....

This is interesting. Before PowerStop released a z23 pad for the F85, I used the z23 F10 pad. There is no question the F10 pad was smaller. The measurements are on the site so no real debate. If the F10 rotor is larger than the F85 rotor, it seems odd that the F10 pad is smaller.

Kinda crazy right? Calipers are identical f85/f10. I ordered my rear caliper kit from Tronik and he's going to help me out on the front rotor bracket. Now if I use the f10 pads I'll have a lot more material options. I'll let you know when I install it all. He's got some stainless lines for the front too. Might help pedal feel.

Are you tracking your car? Might be overkill for daily driving.
