How can I fill in rock chip on my grille before wrapping it in vinyl?
My grille got some rock chips and its very obvious. I want to wrap it in vinyl, but before I do, I would like to fill in the chips. What's the best way to go about this project?

Yup, the best thing you can do is buy a gloss black plastic grille on ebay or amazon. They don't chip like that. Your grille looks like an OEM grill surround that was painted. It will chip forever.

EPOXY to fill in, after it dries use very fine sand paper.
To recheck your work after you finished, you can put temporary sticker to recheck if any dings are visible or not. |

If you're keeping it black, just touch up the chips with paint. And if it gets bad enough, buy a new grill. They're Cheap. Plus wrapping that will be a pain.

Just the answer I was looking for. Maybe I may dabble into that or just paint it with a marker black and ride it out for a few months till they get a bit more dinged up and replace em with black plastic grilles that are painted black to prevent this from happening again.
