2018 Space Gray Metallic 2018 X5 xDrive50i - 15,000 miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 49,500.00

Item Interest
Hello all!

My amazing 2018 Space Gray Metallic X5 xDrive50i lease with 15,000 miles is fast approaching lease-end (this November), so I am offering it for sale now to clear room in the garage.

My payoff is currently $49,500 - so as you can see, I am NOT looking to profit here, just clear the way for the next car and see if someone from the forums would like to take advantage of buying a clean xDrive50i before the dealer gets it back and sells it for $55,000.

I have sold my leased vehicles in the past, but for those unfamiliar with the process you will simply pay me for the car and I will pay BMW Financial who will send title (2-3 weeks per BMW Financial) and we will make the transfer to your name.

Thanks to Bimmerpost, I have already sold my AC Schnitzer Axle-back Muffler with Black Quad Tips, so the exhaust is back to stock.

Also thanks to Bimmerpost I sold my OEM 310M 21" wheels, so now the original Tires and Wheels are back on: Michelin Latitude Tour HP ZP Size 255/50R19 run-flats BMW 449 OEM 19" Wheels.

I will try to update the photos this coming weekend with the stock muffler, wheels, and tires!

I also put back the original kidney grill as I like the look of the silver with the 449 OEM wheels. However, I will include my gloss black kidney grill with the sale. I do not have the spacers but I think the Latitude run-flats would look amazing with some spacers in the rear.

I hope it will be appreciated by the next owner as much as it was by me!

I can direct message the VIN number upon request - my car has never been in any accident, I am a non-smoker and it has never been smoked in, always garaged, and no pets.

I would be happy to show in the LA area, with masks and social distance protocol.

California registered through November!

Additional Details:

15,000 miles
Original $87,800 MSRP

Pricing/Options:
-$87,800 Total MSRP
-$73,800 Base Price
-$3,700: Bang & Olufsen Sound System
-$2,950: Executive Package
(Soft-close Automatic Doors, Adaptive Full LED Lights, Automatic High Beams, Head-Up Display, Dynamic Digital Cluster)
-$1,950: Mocha Nappa Leather Interior Design Package with Fineline Wood Trim
-$1,600: Premium Package
(Heated Steering Wheel, Active Bling Spot Detection, Side and Top View Cameras, Parking Assistant, Speed Limit Info, Lane Departure Warning)
-$1,200: Driving Assistance Plus
(Active Cruise Control Stop & Go, Active Driver Assistance, Extended Collision Mitigation)
-$650: Ceramic Controls
-$500: Comfort Rear Seats
-$400: Running Boards
-$350: Heated Rear Seats
-$300: Apple CarPlay Compatibility
-$250: Rear Manual Slide Window Shades
-$150: Space Saver Spare

Additional money invested with the help of two of the most trusted enthusiast shops in Southern California:

1. Exoticar in West Los Angeles; and
2. The one and only r33_RGSport in Irwindale.

Work performed:

-$2,343: Exoticar LA: Chrome delete throughout including running boards, roof rack, window trim, emblem (except for xDrive50i side emblems), brake calipers painted BMW M-Performance Blue, AutoTecknic Glazing Black Side Vents, paint side markers body color

- $677: Exoticar LA: Paint and Install AdvanceTuning front & rear diffuser (painted to match, no drilling into OEM bumpers, polypropylene), Gloss Black Dual Slat Kidney Grill.

-$629: RG Sport Install: Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Spring for BMW F15/F16 X5/X6 xDrive50i w/o Self-Leveling. To me, optically this 1" drop is perfect, it sits perfectly positioned and is not necessarily slammed, it looks as it always should have from the factory and the ride is improved.

-$459: Exoticar LA Install: BMW X5 M Sport/X5M OEM Fender Flares, painted to match

-$115: RG Sport Install: X5M Air Filters

-$90: Exoticar LA Install: Window Tint Front

Sale includes:

-OEM original springs (unless buyer does not want them)
-Two OEM key fobs and all manuals, window sticker, etc.

The warranty will transfer to new owner along with all paperwork.

Swap a lease is option also, but there is a fee for the paperwork and may take 30-60 days.

GLWS, beautiful car

Thank you for the tip and well wishes! I love the forum and its members so always prefer to offer up here first if someone wants it. Let's see what happens, I think I'm also at the point that by summertime, I think giving it back 3-5 months early I'd be right at breakeven on a trade (or close to it), especially if I negotiate into something new. However, selling it now probably gives me more flexibility than having to negotiate the trade.

Such low miles and looks in such great condition. Why don't you keep it?

FWIW, I bought a CPO 2018 X5 50i with 22K miles in Dec last year for $54K. The MSRP was $96K (M Sport, DHP, Piano black trim and Merino vs Napa are the only differences I can see).

The prices seem to have gone up since Dec, plus yours is lower miles. I love the exterior styling on yours. It's a great deal but the process seems complicated to me. Some one pays you and you pay BMW and then once BMW turns over ownership to you, you sell it to the person who paid you. Isn't swaplease just easier? Just curious…

Will you be interested in selling/trading the cluster? I'm in LA.

Sorry all for being incredibly behind, still available! Please inbox me if interested in a Facetime or WhatsApp video call to see the car with the stock run flats/wheels back on. As FCX5 mentioned keeping it is definitely an option!

It looks like I am unable to message you. Perhaps it is because I am a new member?

I'll keep this as an option if it's still available. We're stating the hunt for a new X5.
