Thoughts on this X5M to purchase.

All

Currently own an e92 m3 and daily a 2013 Tahoe. Haven driven the 35i and 35d and just can't justify getting rid of the M3 and Tahoe for them. Have started to explore the X5m. Please give me your thoughts on this one. (Dinan

I'll be looking for an aftermarket warranty - suggestions welcome.

Thoughts on price and mileage? Major repair concerns.

Carfax had a weird Midas check that jumps out at me.

I would be wary since it is not a CPO, and about to go off warranty. Given the tuning it was likely driven hard. Also, lived it’s life in harsh winter climate. Looks lovely and a great price.

Things I WOULDN'T do again after buying mine. No after market warranty they are useless at least mine is. Bought mine from a BMW dealership and the after market warranty will be useless. After only one month of owning it the Vanos went out it's lubricated by oil which is "supposed" to be covered, got denied said that it only applies to the most expensive warranty!! Plus it came with a 90 day warranty from the Nationwide dealership it's self. To the credit of my dealership they ate the cost and I'll be doing business with them in the future.

Having been modified the after market warranty will deny and claims related to your engine and ECU even though it's not reprogrammed just based on my experience.

Also I watched this guy's series of Youtube videos on how to buy a car https://thehomeworkguy.com/
