HID bulb replacement

Can anyone on this forum give me some simple direction on replacing my H1S xenon bulbs? I've searched the forum, and generally on-line, but haven't found the help I need. Every video or diy post I've found talks of spring clips holding in the bulb. I don't have spring clips - so how is the bulb held in and how can I release it?

I have a 2014 X5 with adaptive headlights (anti-dazzle). Thanks in advance.

Thanks Catalin. So, simple anti-clockwise twist by 30 degrees. Is much force required? I did try to twist, though very cautiously, and there didn't seem much movement (other than the light steering assembly, which is when I left it alone)

Don't know mate, I have LED.

Best advise is to follow the instructions from the link.

I have a 2014 X5 (adaptive/HID/ xenon) and the hi/low beam bulb replacement was as simple as a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise, not much force required while carefully pulling the bulb straight out.. thank you for this post!

It was tough to confirm the twist when everyone else was posting with clips.

Thanks!
