Haha yep. Problem is I'm not installed them quite yet. Still need to decide what I'm doing for front rotors as my kit didn't come with them. Im also questioning the quality of the rear rotors they sent. Decent lip on them which I wasn't expecting. Need to measure them to even seen if they're above limits.

But as far as rear pads there are tons of options.

I would go akebono for the rears. Best ceramic pads I've ever owned. EUR919

ok great i can just do those for rear.. and with front what Jimmy suggested. I thought in both scenarios they would work just fine with stock rotors?

I just want to eliminate the brake dust and squeal.. since this is wife's daily and i'm the car wash guy..

Yes, they DO NOT fit the X5M in front. Wrong pad altogether.

They're for the E70 X5M or MPBK for the F15/F16.

Based on the website they have a front pad for the F85 X5M. The Front PN is unique. Doesn't match the X5 5.0i or F10 M5 / F12 M6. Might be the same size as the stock front pad?

It's available from rock auto as well. And it won't be listed for the 50i or the F90 as those are bother different pad sizes (albeit the caliper is the same between F85/90 just different rotors and pads)

I don't see the Powerstop Z16 Evolution Ceramic front pads for the F85 X5M, PN 16-1738, on the RockAuto site. Actually, no front pads for the X5M. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Do you have a link?

Called Powerstop. The front Z16 pad is a new PN. Expected to be available in the next 30-90 days. Z23 compound likely to follow.

The rep described the Z16 as a basic stock replacement pad. Similar performance, less dust.

She told me the Z23 had better braking performance and less dust than the Z16.

Power stop was supposed to be coming out with some I thought. But ya you'd think brembo would given they make the caliper.
