Feeler.. Special order Future classic spacers for X5M / X6M

So I've looking at all the best options for spacers on this particular platform and I found some good stuff but personally I've never been a fan of spacers I always liked my rims to be direct with the hub. Nowadays things are different most companies are making hub centric setups and that makes everything even better but in my opinion FC / IND took it a step further...

Beautiful setup right? Well 1 problem fellas they don't make this sick setup for our vehicles plus their hasn't been a demand for it so we wouldn't be able to get them until now!

After speaking with IND / FC they are willing to produce a small run. The design will need to be new as the hub bore is wider, tools with the machine shop will need to be revised etc. Overall the minimum order quantity will likely be around 20-25 sets so we're looking at roughly 10-15 cars but I think we can make something happen with a 10 car minimum.

Future classic will not have more information on pricing until some details are worked out with their machine shop. I was told for a limited run a non refundable deposit will need to be taken for each set.

So moral of the story is I made this long ass thread to see if any of you want these as bad as I do (they'll be perfect with my wheel stud conversion ) and are willing to take this small step so we can acquire a really nice item.

I already got a verbal from 1 local guy so that's 2 counting myself, anybody else interested?

Once I get my 22s put on I'll let you know. Not sure if they're gonna need spacers or not yet..

The real takeaway from this video is the spinning center caps on the wheels! I never knew such a thing exists.

FYI, wheel spacer is not any size will fit to any car.
There is a limitation.

For this F85/F86 Chassis, the front hub lip height is 14mm.
And the stock wheels and most wheel manufacturers have 4-5mm champered back pad to help guiding the wheel into the hub.
You will need at least a few mm of the wheel to sit on the hub, instead of just hanging by the lug bolts.

So, based on my calculation and what I have been selling, 5mm is the maximum you can go before it will need to go hubcentric.

While to go with hubcentric, on the front hub, a minimum thickness would be 15mm.
While the rear is 12mm.

Hope this information help.
I have sold hundreds set of H&R wheel spacers for F15/F16/F85/F86 chassis.

For myself I wanted to run 15mm on all 4 corners for my stock 21's and if I get rims I'll order a custom offset then I won't have to run one at all. But in the meanwhile my fall / winter setup will sit very nice.

Yea, 10mm won't fit.
You can't even do hubcentric below 15mm.

Understood but I rather run something else due to the fact that I've heard complaints from time to time about vibration. And no it's not an H&R thing but I've had guys that run other company spacers on many different platforms complain but so far not 1 single complaint with FC.

Besides all of that I just like to be different so even if this little venture doesn't work out I'll probably see what spacers guys are running in Europe and go with that.

Sure. I was just sharing the information too.
H&R been doing it for more than 30 years and it is made in Germany.
While FC is brand new company. Making wheel spacer is not space engineering. All it comes down to is the material and tooling quality.

As I mentioned to my customes and others, even I can and was offered to have my own brand. But I don't want to, because I don't want to fail you guys.
H&R is German company, TUV approved quality and manufacturing process. Been used around the world for street and track purposes.

I have a few customers that switched from other brand to H&R because some issues with the cheaper popular brands that they were opted too.

But, so far I have heard good things about FC.
Its main sales pitch is weight saving. A few grams weight saving compared to H&R.
