Nice move, congrats man! I love my H&R's too for the same reasons (performance, stiffness and drop). Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't think the ride is bumpy

I was shocked when everyone kept bashing on H&R... they have a long history with BMW Motorsport.

I was surprised as well...not sure why all the "hate". I had them on my 1990 325iS for 10 years and was happy with them from the get go until I sold my car. I put 180,000 kms on those springs (~ 112,000 miles) and never had an issue (ok they're springs, how much can go wrong? I get it lol).

LOL!! I'm not bluffing... I live in SoCal and the roads are far from perfect. No difference from Eibach in comfort. r33_RGSport was patient with me and even helped with arrangements for the switch while on vacation .

Thank you for your patience.

To tell you the truth, it is preference.
I am used to a stiff suspension.
But for some that is not used to it, they will not like it.

My input on H&R was based on general public's input.

But, lately I have been doing something special when I do the install on customer's car who wants it lowered aggressively.
Seems like it is helping the ride.

Trade secret.
It is not 100% proven yet anyway.

Haha sorry dude, H&R have always been good! Eibach are good springs too, I just don't think their drop is aggressive enough...but that's just mindcontrollerone and my opinion lol

Welcome and congrats on your new X5!
This is a great community with a lot of knowledge. I haven't been a member long myself, but have learned quite a bit so far.

Finally pulled the trigger on a black grille. I think it looks way better. I didn't really want the dual slat, but think it may grow on me. If not, I'll pull it out and replace with single slat. I think the best part was being able to clean underneath the grille before replacing them lol

Looks great, I like the look of the double over the single but OEM didn’t offer a F15 version. My vote is to keep it, if youhange your mind, PM me for a swap for OEM single slat.

Thanks. I am pretty happy with the way it looks right now. That could change tomorrow though lol. I will for sure let you know if I am going to get rid of it, would rather it go to a forum member.

Looks good bro! The dual slat is hotter than the single for sure.
