Lightbulb Pricing Discussion

What is everyone paying for their iX orders? MSRP? Any deals under MSRP?

Casual conversation with my CA a few days ago. Verbal quote of at MSRP with delivery time of November to February.

I have bought several vehicles from him, and he knows I am very knowledgeable with where the market is.

"Maybe" if I press and get serious with ordering, I could get a point or two off. But that may be hopeful in this market with a newly released vehicle. They could always dangle a lower order price, on the assumption they make it back up on the X5 that I would be trading in. I don't really feel like shopping my trade around or selling private.

I may be seeing him on Saturday to test drive the iX. Will update accordingly.

My dealer won't go below MSRP, not with a long queue and short supply. Said they'll do something on the winter wheel package, tbd.

MSRP - no discounts (with the possible exception of BMW's military incentive).

MSRP. The Mercedes dealership a block away (same ownership) wanted $50k over MSRP for an EQS 580 so BMW agreeing to a MSRP deal is fair for an EV in high demand.

MSRP here too. I may be able to get the BMWCCA rebate though if there is one still.

My Mercedes dealers is asking for over MSRP on the EQS SUV I want to order. I'm going to probably have to order out of state to get that at MSRP. Typically I have found the most reasonable dealers in smaller mid-west towns

I checked directly with BMW CCA's Rebate and Raffle Administrator, Michelle Moldonado, and she advised that BMW NA had decided not to add the iX to their membership reward program (a/o February). She didn't rule it out in the future though....

I was told that BMW Canada is not applying military, diplomat or any other usual discount program to the iX. At least for now.

Pricing Discussion

I test drove an Audi e-tron and the Audi dealership said placing an order would be at "market" price, which currently is $10k above MSRP. Ridiculous.

I visited three BMW dealerships and each one said the iX would be at MSRP. I placed a deposit for the iX.

I put myself on the order books in Northern California and my CA said they will be selling at MSRP. Obviously I will have to wait and see if they will actually honor it and not add any 'extras' or pad the document fee.

I contacted a few brokers to see if they know anyone that could do better than MSRP and the answer seems to be an overwhelming 'NO.'

The IX is also a vastly better car than the Audi eTron. I'm shocked there is an ADM on the eTron.

I placed a preorder back in December. My dealer told me that I would be able to get the car at MSRP when it arrives in a couple of months. We’ll see how that goes.
