Joined the X5 club.
Traded in the X3 for this and a 3rd row this past week. Pretty excited about it. Unfortunately I think we discovered the drain tubes at the front of the sunroof are clogged but I'll deal with it this weekend. However, a 2014 with 55k on the odo. Interior and exterior in excellent condition, we've been looking for one for a while and theres always been the sign of too much neglect in each one we saw.

Looking good.
I also was turned off by all the neglected X5s that I’ve come across during my search, seemed like every single one was a family hauler with which they didn’t care much about proper interior/exterior care. |

Care to share some interior pics? I love the color, looks a lot like mine when I purchased it.

Not too hot on options. Just 3rd row and m sport package. baby coming at the end of September and we've been too picky in the previous months shopping. so we like the condition and chose to pull the trigger on this one. And got it for 25k.

Of all “wood grain” trim, yours is my favorite, I had that on my F16.

If that deal doesn’t pan out, which I can’t see why not, look for the MPerf Carbon Fiber set. It’ll change the cabin look.
But at $600 for an aluminum trim set, you can’t go wrong. Then turn and sell yours.

2014 X5 Roof Leak - where is the drain plug ?
Hi,
I just did exactly the same ... sold the X3 and updated to the X5, same model as this one .. 2014. Car came 100% until ... it rained. And now im shocked to see its a "normal" feature ... I could not take the cover to find the plug, as we took a first one but then there was another one, harder, and with no visible screws ... Cant find one video showing the process on a 2014 X5 ... Any toughts ? |
