Missing Wheel Lock Key??
I noticed an empty spot on the tool tray which appears to be for the “Wheel Lock Key”. Does anyone have the part number or whether it’s even irrelevant? The OCD in me wants to fill this space with the missing piece.

Do you even have wheel locks on the vehicle?

I not sure but there is a compartment on the tool tray that was designed for a part that is now missing. The screw driver was also originally missing.

That would be the first step, figure out if you have wheels locks. You’ll need to know before it’s too late.
If so, then yes, you’re missing the key. If not, no you’re not missing a key.

Should BMW have designed a tray without the space for a wheel lock key for those that didn't want them in the first place? Why don't you contact a lawyer and start a class action law suit against BMW.... |

Now the boot is complete. Even though i’ll never use the locking lug on my M, the missing part is now on the tray.

Put a Champagne cork in there instead. It will probably be more useful if you don't have wheel locks installed.
