Have you contacted BMWNA about their lack of following the process?
Canada is under BMW Canada, not BMWNA. And they suck. Actually, they suck so much, that most probably this will be my last BMW for a while (and I never had anything else in my life, except my very first car).

Grand river in Kitchener. That's the closest dealership for me. I also bought my X4 brand new from them.

I did that at the first sign of corrosion. Took the wheels off. Grinder off as much rust off the rotors, hubs, and the corrosion off the back of the rim and inside the bore. Just had my rims refinished last week. Just need to get my ride back so I can put on the floating BMW center caps I bought

I was told by my SA that this is not covered under new car warranty or CPO. I have corrosion on all 4 wheels and the center caps are bubbling.

My SA is also pushing back. Can anyone that got it replaced can share their invoice? Also anyone have any luck getting this done at an NY/NJ dealership?

Anyone else that can chime in? Did the dealer replace or re-finish your corroding wheels under warranty or CPO?

I'm about to start this odyssey. CPO expires in a month. I think my best shot is to just ask dealership who does their wheel refinishing.

Having a good relationship with your service advisor is a big plus...
But you just need to convince the dealership to have the wheels replaced under warranty or worst case scenario have them refinished under a goodwill. Look through this thread there are many valuable information.. just skip through the one sentence posts which is mainly useless or repetitive information. I had a positive outcome at BMW of Tenafly ( northern NJ ). After several emails going back and forth with my service advisor and eventually with the general manager, I convinced them to get me new wheels since I was a loyal customer to BMW and to their facility for the past 10 years. If they disappoint me then I would take my business elsewhere.

Bottom line... BMWNA declined to replace.. My dealership out of goodwill replaced it under their cost and they have kept me as their customer.

Unfortunately don't have much of a relationship. Bought CPO and coverage almost up, though I don't think it would cover this anyway.
