OP Heads up- F16 trim will not fit F15 and vice versa. I sold my F16 trim to an F15 owner and it came back to me due to the door pieces being slightly longer.

But, GLWS!

I have CF trim that I have been contemplating swapping out to the brushed aluminum to add a contrast color to the interior however I am not certain if it is worth it and how much effort is needed to swap out the trim pieces.

Let me know if you decide to do that. I'd be interested in the CF set.

The swap is pretty easy, about a 1-2 hour job. Removing the door panels is the most difficult and time consuming part, and that’s only 5-7 screws per door.

If I were to entertain this I would probably install DynaMat while the panels are off. Anyone else on here done the same?

It would we swap plus cash since I was going to list on the F15 forums. Those folks really want out of their wood and into something better looking.

I’m sayin if you buy this guys aluminum set, let me know and I might pick up your CF set. I’ve got silver hex and would be interested in changing.

That's about what the dealership charged me to do mine (2 hours labor). For me, it was worth two hours of labor to avoid all the hassle. It was so much easier on the F10 than my F15 so I chose to get it done instead of DIY.

As in the knee-pad area?
If so, this may be an opportunity to jump on the knee-pad upgrade mod

Good set, but I believe it was a bad idea to sell the center console pieces.
Unless buyer picks up the knee pads for another 1K, they're stuck.

The center console pieces can be bought separately if need be.

Also, there are X5M/X6M owners out there who would prefer the brushed aluminum set with their color scheme.
