Thinking new hood, bumper, light, quarter panel, headlight, MP grille, IND painted reflector, tire, maybe rim. Nothing under neath seemed damaged. No leaking and the suspension looked still attached lol. But we will see tomorrow when they appraise it.

It was my fault unfortunately. Was in a left turn at a red light. Decided i needed to go straight. Checked the passenger mirror and it looked clear. But this was a hwy (301) where speed limit is like 55 so I guess by the time I started to pull out a car was now in that lane. That or I just didn't see it due to the cars behind me blocking it.
All I remember is a red blur in my peripheral and me swerving to the left but not enough and not in time. She took my wheel and quarter panel down her driver side. It was a 2019 Lincoln small suv.
Bottom line is Everyone is ok. No tickiet thankfully. Cop said well shit happens and everyone's ok. I think it helped that I'm the one that told him what happened when he came up to us and I started with "it was my fault".

On a positive note. My wife called me after work and said "well now with a new hood and bumper you can finally get that bra thing you wanted when you bought the car"

Hood is bent right above the head light and so is the quarter panel.

PS I'm taking guestimates of how much the damage is going to be. Lol

12000, I was the receipt on my 5 series of something similar. The darn light is over $1000, fender and bumper are similarly priced. Paint cost is $1000. It adds up quick since you wont be really going for used/aftermarket parts.

Yeah Im with him I wouldnt be suprised if it was totaled. My inlaw swerved and ran into a pole everything from side panel,hood, headlight, foglight, bumper and suspension had to be replaced granted his damage looks to be more excessive than yours just the one headlight alone with bmw reprograming came out to 2300$ his car ended up getting totaled.

What does it take to total a car these days. No airbags deployed. And the damage looks purely cosmetic. Cars worth over $30k still soooo. I mean I wouldn't mind if they totalled it. I deploy in a month so I would probably just do something temporary and then get something while oversees

Glad you're all in one piece.
Your insurance will probably skyrocket, but it pales in comparison to both of escaping w/o a scratch.
As for the damage, if the control arm and suspension need to go, it could cost over 10K...if you add hood, fender, led light that is. Really hope it won't get totalled as you have put quite a bit of work yourself.

You’ll be surprised at the cost. H/l assembly alone is 2k. My guess is 10-15k all in.
