Pressure washing the engine.
Has anyone done it here? I found some mice droppings under the hood and need to address asap.

Lol but seriously, just get a good "window" cleaner like Invisible Glass and spot treat. I wouldn't spray anything into the engine bay. Invisible Glass breaks down bird poop well, I'm sure it'll do the same for mouse poop. |

The dealer can do a courtesy professional engine pressure wash. Just nicely ask your SA. But of urgency is to address the mice infestation. They're known to gnaw into electrical wire insulations and cause all manner of hard to diagnose electrical problems.

Have done it plenty of times with other cars with no issue. Just use common sense and don't put the nozzle too close to anything.
Glad you got rid of your mouse house. |

Hey Xolinlevh, Yes, typically I’ll foam the engine bay with a gentle soap like Foam Paint Cleanser (cover any exposed battery, alternator, or sensitive areas). Then I’ll agitate with a soft bristle brush using Titan 12 Degreaser as needed. Then a quick rinse with the power washer followed by compressed air. Should be good to go! |

Also Griots has a range of engine bay cleaning products and there are videos on their site showing recommended procedures. |
