Loaded 2014 X5 xDrive35i

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 23,000.00

Item Interest
Up for sale is my 2014 BMW X5 xDrive35i. This car has been dealer serviced it's whole life and has been incredibly reliable. I just had it serviced 7/18/19 and the only thing that was recommended was having all the fluids changed (front and rear differential, transfer case, oil, etc) and also had a fuel injection service and all the filters changed. It is ready to go for a long time. This X5 is very well equipped with rare features such as ACC Stop and Go, which means you can set cruise control and it will control the distance/acceleration/braking, including coming to a full stop (most cars don't do this). It also has the Drivers Assistance Plus package which includes collision mitigation, blind spot monitors, and pedestrian avoidances. The main thing that sets this X apart from others is the Executive package. You get 24-way multi contour seats, that are heated and cooled, a leather dashboard with leather door panels. It also has the adaptive LED package which completely light up the road and also automatically operate the brights. This isn't your standard X5, it has been tuned which drastically reduces turbo lag and make the vehicle feel much like the V8, with out all the reliability issues. Please text if interested. It also has new custom rims and new tires.

Very nice! Is this a custom tune, or an off the shelf one for N55 engine... Can you share details?

I wish this car had a little less miles. I drive over 20k miles a year and I would have to look for another car within 2 years if I buy it. But man this car has all the packages I am looking for. local too, but sadly I have to pass on it due to the miles.

Dang! That's too bad. It's a beautiful car and will last a long time if you can get over the mileage.

Well, for the low price OP is asking for, it's a bargain even considering the 73k mileage, especially with it being well optioned. Can't even buy a CRV for this price.

These engines last a long time, you should be fine.

Even on the higher maintenance V8s, I drove a few over 150k with no issues over the last 20 years.

Yup, certainly a very lovely car. I am trying to convince myself but this is going to be wife's daily driver and our long drive car. With our previous experiences, we have decided to not keep a car past 100k miles. Hence, the predicament.
Will talk to the wife and see what she says. Most probably its going to be a no go but doesnt hurt to try.

Motor yes but there are many other parts in the car.
If I were driving less than 10k miles a year, I'd buy it in a heart beat. I have been driving bmws for a long time (e36, e39, e46, e92) and try and DIY most of the stuff. I could probably tell size of wrench/socket needed for suspension, bushings, belts, brakes, etc without even looking at the DIY. Honestly, I had a honda accord that was unreliable than any other car I had. And my e46, I drove till 190k miles before I sold it. I have faith in this car for sure but now with the family growing plus travel, I have less time for DIY and need a little more peace of mind.

I see where you're coming from, that being said my experience with my higher mileage BMW's is if they are we maintained (every 5k) then it'll be fine. Let me know!
