2017 x5, any issues?
Hi, I am thinking of replacing my 13 x3 with a used 17 x5,
still debating between 17 x5 and gle350 wonder if there is any issue particular for that model year I need to be careful with? plan to keep it for a few years if no major issue happens thanks |

thanks for the feedback, this is why I am looking at x5 after 17 with less than 30k miles which still have original warranty and possibly I will try to get a cpo to extend the peace of mind a bit more. :-)
have a great weekend |

Did you park cars? Im aware dealer prices are inflated but to say 1700-2100 out the door is misleading considering #33107636992 is what was replaced and that's just the rear diff without other minor added parts like oil and such. Cheapest I found online is 2650$ and I have standard suspension if you have M adaptive add a few hundred on top and if you have DHP it's almost 3700$. Not sure how it is in Boston but any reputable indy that handles bmws in NJ/NY have labor rates that go from 154-267$ per hour not too far off from a dealer with it being a 4-5 hour job it would roughly cost 4000$ that's quite a chunk I'd be taking out of my "cookie jar"
