Nope, I bought a CPO 2017 with just under 30K miles. Fortunately it was in minty fresh condition.

Scheduled Xpel PPF the next day. It is a few months later now and everything is looking great.

Of course it really depends on the condition of your front end (or wherever you want to wrap). If it is deeply pitted/scratched/clearcoat missing, then of course you're going to run into problems. You may also run into problems if the panel(s) were repainted. Sometimes removing vinyl/PPF can pull up non-factory paint.
