X5 squeak coming from the boot.
Hi Guys,
just joined the forum and this is my first post, and first BMW, having owned land rover defenders for the last 20 years i thought it time for a change, so i bought myself a X5 30d M sport, 2013 63 reg, black with cream leather, 1 previous owner, fbmwsh, and only covered 30,000 miles, and coming from the land rovers i absolutely love it, its a thing of beauty, plenty quick enough and as comfy as can be, iv only had it a month and its developed a squeak coming from the boot, iv had the back seats down, parcel shelf out, iv had the trim off from around the rear window all with no joy, the only thing that stopped it was when i drove down the road with the boot open, so then i thought it might be the top tailgate rubbing on the bottom one, so i got some draft excluder and stuck it in between the 2 and closed it, still no joy, so now im at a bit off a loss, and wondered if anyone had had had the same problem, thanks. lee |
