Smoke White Interior Shots (Finally)
NickRac -- It has taken way too long to get back to your request. The car is filthy but I had the good camera out and some time. It was a pain to resize them and give enough detail.

Definitely looks great! The kid seat tells me you are a bit of a gambler though How long will it stay white?

My son is not the problem. As you can see, his area is actually fairly covered. I've found that ink from jeans will be the main culprit. Straight from white to faint blue! |

The contrast stitching is a chocolate brown. It looks black from a distance. It matches nicely since the stitching on the scotch brown is smoke white.

I had always done black leather before this. I figured I'd take a chance. It is certainly more maintenance. I think about what I'm wearing before I get in. But it's those moments when driving at night, with the ambient lights on, and the interior seems to exude warmth and luxury. I'd do it again just to experience that.

Love that interior, looks amazing! I would be way to nervous about keeping it clean though, especially with a toddler in the back seat.

The under car seat pad, which is genius, I found at Buy Buy Baby for $20 My son, who is 7 1/2 years old, is not tall enough to put his feet on the floor. With the pad, he usually has his feet on the seat/pad. He's comfortable and I don't worry because it's a removable pad that blends surprisingly well with the leather. He can get it dirty and it cleans up very easily (or can be replaced). We've made it to the end of basketball season, let's see how it holds up for soccer/baseball season. |
