Will 20" 611M Winter wheels fit on F15?

Curious if the "square" set up of 611M wheels will fit on an F15. They are 10" front and 10.5" rear

The 611M isn't a square setup though. Aren't they 285/40/20 in the front and 325/35/20 in the rear?

Ditto...the 611 wheel style is a staggered 20" set:
  • front: 10"X20" w/40mm offset (summer & winter)
  • rear: 11½”X20" w/38mm offset (summer)
  • rear: 10½” X20 w/32mm offset (winter)

If you want to run a square set...you can buy them that way (4 front wheels)...but on an f85 X5M...they came as a staggered set.

If you'd like to see a comparison of these wheels vs what you already have...you can run your original wheel/tire (front then rear) and compare it to the 611 wheel (and what ever tire you're going to mount to them) through a wheel/tire configurator like at this site: www.willtheyfit.com

You'll get the specs as well as an illustration that will show how much poke or inset there is between the original and new wheel/tire set-up. The 611 is so similar to the rest of the f15 20" wheels that in the illustration..the new setup is so close to the old set-up that you can't even see the "orange" illustration that shows the original setup...because the green illustration (showing the new set-up) is almost exactly the same.

611's came in two different rear sizes, 10.5 & 11.5 (both sizes listed on realoem.com with unique part #'s)

The 10.5 rears were a winter option & I believe the tires were a 285/40/20 square setup. There's actually been a few sets of these listed on the forum just recently.

Thanks...you’re right. I corrected my reply above to include the winter style 611 specs. But the ½“ width different between the winter front & winter rear wheels...would still make the set staggered since their widths are different as well as their wheel offsets being different.

Hey man,
I appreciate all the information you post about OEM parts.

I recall you or someone historically has posted an updated OEM wheel fitment table.

Can you repost it once more? A friend of mine just got a E61, and I was telling him about all the various bore, width and offset minute differences between all the models. He's trying to fit OEM wheels from other models and even other generations onto his car.

Here’s the last one I updated. I’ve fallen behind (just like many of the BMW wheel sites). If you have a G chassis BMW...the chart has very little info for the new models. When BMW changed the wheel bolt pattern to 5x112mm...I gave up on updating the chart since that change makes it difficult to consider substituting any of the G chassis wheels to the E & F chassis models without using adaptive wheel spacers etc.

Don't want to create another thread so going to ask here.
Can I run summer 611M wheels (20x10 front and 20x11.5 rear) paired with 275/40-20 fronts and 315/35-20 rear tires on F15 w/o an issue. To me it looks perfectly fine and doable but wanted to double check before I drop some cash on new wheels and tires.

According to Q&A here https://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1210115
it is perfectly fine and many people did this on F85, no differences for F15, is that correct?

Well it'd be more stretched than your traditional 11.0 rear oem 20inch wheel depending on what tire brand that may vary. I saw a X5M at the dealer while getting serviced with toyo proxe 275/315 tires on machined 611s and lip seemed a bit too exposed imo but other than aesthetics I don't see why not

My number one option for tires is Vredestein Quatrac Pro right now, second is Continental DWS 06.

As much as I enjoyed DWS's it has a pretty soft sidewall which is something you should take into consideration as your lip will somewhat be exposed

Yep, Quatrac is my first option anyways, but all safe for transfer case, suspension clearance etc, right? I saw the picture of DWS in the topic I mentioned above and it doesn't look too bad.

It will clear/not rub as to transfer case problems it seems to be more random than selective. Many here have a more aggressive setup without issues then you have someone like me with stock 469s on Pzeros have there transfer case replaced with relatively low miles.

Yeah, I noticed that. Just wanted to make sure my math is correct and technically everything is within the specs.
