POLL: Which is a better buy?
2016 46,000 miles, with wrap warranty until 7/24 or 100k miles (doesn't cover wear items)
OR 2016 26,000 miles, no warranty Both are $51,000, have same options, same colors, clean Carfax, and no repairs needed. I'm planning on keeping it for about 6 years, and I'll drive it roughly 45K miles.

So far you're the only one who would take the higher mileage with the warranty.
(Poll is 9 to 1 so far) I'm curious to know what your reasoning is.

These cars are very expensive to repair. Think about it, 20 000 miles difference but with a warranty. I bought my car in Florida with a warranty however I exported it to Jamaica. Less than a year later it developed a transmission rough shift from 3rd to 2nd. The local dealer would not honor the warranty and BMW USA said since it left the US the warranty was voided. Bought a used transmission and installed/coded it and since then no problems.
For a headache free life the benefits of a warranty far outweighs 20k miles. |

I would figure out a way to get a warranty and/or maintenance on the lower mileage option. Otherwise, it might sound crazy but the higher mileage with warranty might be worth it. Depending on the warranty and coverage. I'd still get maintenance on that one too if you could.
