I just got my X5M Sport 50i and this site has inserted the Mod bug in me as well. I have many left to do and I like seeing them on yours first to know what looks good and such.

Other mods for you to consider...

Open front grills
50D grill Splitters
Carbon Fiber Eyelids for headlights
Painted Rear reflectors

now you made me google "Open front grills"....luckily I have non-sport version so I don't think is possible in my case; that's good btw, no more $ spent!

Good news for you, even if there is an option, it is not as necessary as the ugly fake grill on the M Sport.

New to the forum here, been following your build Violator and really love everything you've done to the vehicle. We just picked one up this week for my fiance, but I just can't help myself. Already paid another forum member for mppk and have a few other things on the way. I was curious though and wanted to ask in regards to the racechip gts black. I'm torn between ordering this or the jb4 and have spent countless hours comparing the two and can't seem to make up my mind. The racechip seems like it would be much simpler to install, though a bit more expensive. Are you still happy with yours? Would you recommend I go this route? Trying to make up my mind today and get one or the other ordered. I'm in Austin, Tx so not too far from you.

Welcome to the forum and the addiction! I appreciate the compliments on my mods and X5, I love it as well.
As to the RC vs JB4 debate, I am sure you've read all the comparisons, pros/cons available. I haven't tested a JB4 so I can't speak to that but I will tell you that I have used a RC Ultimate and the GTS Black. I am still happy with it and glad that I upgraded from the Ultimate to the GTS. I recommend you getting in touch with r33_RGSport ASAP and request a quote on a list of mods, you know you want them! He delivers in many ways, great products and prices, as well as advice and support during the actual installation/mod process, whether it's the knee-pads or the RC install. Go with Ben.

You arent too far at all, I have made several trips up there this year to meet up with fellow Lone Star members, P1et and TallGuyX5, so you're in good company.
I think we need a central Texas meet and greet, who's down?

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes I am familiar with Ben on this forum as he appears in many threads and seems extremely helpful! The only reason I didn't order my painted reflectors and springs from him is because he doesn't seem to carry eibach anymore and he didn't have Glacier Silver Metallic available as a color option when I checked. @r33_RGSport would you be able to get me a quote on the RaceChip GTS Black shipped to 78729 when you have a moment?

I would definitely be open to meeting fellow Texas x5 owners at some point!

You should've PM me directly on the Eibach, I do carry it, I just don't stock it.
As far as the Painted Reflector, I pulled it off from the list, since I just ran out of stock on Glacier Silver and it was a slow moving color.
I was debating earlier of the week to run another batch or not, but after seeing the record in my book, I decided to remove it. My apology for that. Again, should've PM me and maybe I run a batch for you. Haha.
But, I think one of my friend in the industry is taking care of you since I got the inquiry this morning.

I flew into North Carolina yesterday to pick it up, and now I’m driving all the way back to Texas. So far it’s been a great road trip, I love it.

What's the purpose of this mod? My passenger side is already the open version. Driver's side is close.
