That is a terrible lease deal but you have a starting point now lol. Oh where do we start lol.
-Price is too high. Focus on chewing this down as much as possible. Be patient because every little bit off the price helps huge in a lease payment. -They have you putting $4,667.46 down upfront. I wouldn't do that if I were you. -Did they provide you the money factor rate they are using to calculate the payment? Get them down in price and then show us the sheet again and obtain the money factor so we can help you beat them up some more. |

Thanks for the response. Emailed the dealer and her reply was that they give numbers without running credit apps so the number they used for money factor was .00192. She then said I may qualify for a better rate after the credit app is run. So if I were financing this would be 4.6% interest?

This is one of the worst deals i have ever seen ... you're selling price should be around 10% off, especially if this is on the lot, as opposed to being ordered
Based on the Residual of 65% (per calculation in your photo) I would assume this is for a 10k lease? even so, seems the residual is running quite artificially high ... this is a good thing. now, as said above ... get them to drop their pants to atleast 8% minimum off of MSRP, don't fall for bullshit dealer fees, and do not pay a padded money factor or padded bank acq fee and you should be good Last edited by CaboM4; 01-22-2018 at 06:45 PM.. Also, forget Herb Chambers ... they don't deal .... go see Tony @ BMW of West Springfield Mass ... he will take care of you ... bought my 2011 F10 from me at a profit to me 6 months before lease end ... no car purchased at the time
BTW ... car has been on the lot for over 3 months BMW of West Springfield actually has the exact same car you are looking at on their lot, has been there for 4 months http://www.bmwwestspringfield.net/ne...b3102a2bc4.htm Last edited by CaboM4; 01-22-2018 at 06:51 PM.. Reason: additional info |

No MSDs have hurt a little bit, but not a ton.
I agree that you shouldn't put any money down on a lease, but to each their own, I understand people that have a defined budget for their car payments each month. My F85 was 118k MSRP and my monthly with OH and County tax is just under $1,450. |

Suggest that at a minimum you speak with one or two leasing companies to get a better sense of the market. BMW leases are worse than they were a year ago with no MSDs, less residual support and fewer incentives but it feels that you should do much better. My car's sale price was $105K compared to $117K MSRP. Also give David BMW in CA a call and get your car delivered to PC.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm new here and wanted to chime in. Decoding lease numbers can be tricky, but I'll try my best to help you out. Could you provide more details on the numbers you're looking at? It's hard to say if it's a good deal without more information. By the way, if you need any advice on mortgages, I know a great Mortgage Broker in Bradford who might be able to assist you. Anyway, let us know how's it going, such a long time has passed.
