Should I Powder Coat?

Hey Guys,

Looking for some opinions on wheels. I have the Factory 21" 612 wheels. Im considering powder coating these to satin black. Im also considering a new set of wheels and holding onto the factory wheels for future resale.

For those who have powder coated their wheels... did you have any issues with cracking? I have heard powder coating can weaken the wheels.

With the brake dust we get on these do you think it would look better with satin black or gloss black. I feel like the BSM color needs contrast so I was leaning more toward satin.

If anyone has any pics of their set up that would be great.

Color is a personal choice. P.C. should not weaken the wheels at all, properly applied.

Powder Coat will not weaken the wheel.
You just have to use a good place to get it done.

FYI, I got a used set of 22" for sale.

Good to know that the wheel should not loose is strength.

I know color is subjective but looking for some suggestions and or samples to consider
