Anyone using the Akra Ti exhaust ?

How is the sound around town ? I don't really want a loud part throttle. WOT loud is fine. Is it deeper or higher pitched than stock ? Could you see it as an OEM option ? Thanks

I have it. I bought my truck with it installed so I can't compare it to oem but I was a little surprised how quiet it is around town. When I open the window, it's definitely more pronounced but still not obnoxious. It gets louder when you get into sport plus mode

My Tacoma with a TRD exhaust is louder than the akra. I thought about getting DPs but if I open the windows, it's more noticeable

Its definitely deeper and louder then stock. Its harder to tell form inside the cabin due to insulation but when you have the windows down or trunk open you can tell the difference. Ive also had friends of mine tell me while driving next to me that the car sounds a lot louder especially with valves open. I would assume based on from what I've read that its similar to the eisenmann sport (not race) or dinan. It doesn't have an obnoxious cold start although it is louder. I have audio and video files of the before and after from when i did the install but the file size is huge maybe i can wetransfer the files over to anyone interested.
