Understand that for a non factory fitted ECU, its I-Step Shipment is most likely not the same as the car's I-Step Shipment. The correct I-Step Shipment is one where the ECU being flashed has HWEL in svt_soll that is Black, not Red / Blue.

I'm trying to edit my F15 x5 m50d BDC_BODY parameters but I'm getting this error:

"CAFD_00017BE_081_010_013 Fehler:
File for "cafd_00017be_081_010_013" not found! [C012"

Is this just a psdzdata out of date?
Can someone please send me the link for a new one?

Also, can anyone provide me with a link to a working version of Launcher? I had paid for Launcher PRO, but can no longer authenticate it. On top of that my account is locked when I try to login at fxx token master and he has been MIA/unreachable. Dealer replaced my HUD and I lost some coding, so I'm trying to get that back.

Hi Guys,

I have posted as well in the "Code your x5 the easy way" thread

Newb from the UK here with an F15 M50D (2014) which I am trying to code a few things and one of which is the X5 M50D logo on the dash.

I have the Bimmercode App etc and its showing me a Kombi L6 BO as my dash which I can see a few guys have been able to add the logo to but in my case it doesn't give any options with regards to adding the dash logo from the Standard Mode (can't see anything in expert mode either)

Any ideas as to why? - is it a 2 step process where I have to code something else to aktiv 1st?

Is it possible to code launch control into a 40e with out the sport transmission? If so can it be done in Bimmercode?

UPDATE: used read ECU instead read VCM, flashed my cluster with no issues

Trying to flash 6wb with ENet cable, esys 3.33.4, data from ista 4.22.22, can’t read VCM at tal-calculating, getting this error:

Update: it helped with the steering column, but feels like disabled an active steering which is dependent on speed. Now it is easy to turn the wheel on any speed (before it was getting harder to steer with higher speed).

How would steering column movement help with steering wheel turning resistance at different speed...? I imagined those to be 2 separate mechanisms...

I have an x5 40e with the 2TE transmission. Is there a way to code sport+ in bimmercode? From reading other posts its apparently possible to VO code 2TB then do sports+ but I would rather not risk compromising the hybrid drivetrain

Trying to code hkfm2 on my friends 18 f16, but the cafd opens strange, can’t see the options name, see picture. Any way to fix it?

Same thing happens to me on the same module, I read somewhere that you need an updated Launcher Pro to read the code properly. I haven't had a chance to try it though.

Was able to code it using cheat codes that were displayed properly( right side on the screen)

If you go into the ICM module then the 300A DSC ICM CODIERDATEN folder. Towards the middle you will see a few feshasmode codes.

Mode 1 = Comfort
Mode 2 = Comfort +
Mode 3 = not sure
Mode 4 = Sport
Mode 5 = Sport+
Mode 6 = Don't know yet
Mode 7 = Eco Pro
Mode 8 = Edrive (not relevant)

You can turn any of these on (even though most are on by default) by activating the corresponding feshasmode code. For example, to turn on comfort+, you would change feshasmode2 to active.

Below these codes you will find a few fesallowmodelastfunction codes. If you turn these on, the car will remember the last setting it was in when you turned it off, and will then turn on in the same setting. You can turn on more than one at a time.

So fesallowmode2lastfunction will remember comfort+ mode, fesallowmode4lastfunction will remember sport mode, and fesallowmode7lastfuncion will remember eco pro.

The last thing you will need to do to get the car to not reset the last driving mode is change the werte in feslastfunctioninterval to FF.


P.S. for those of you that don't have sport+ on your car, you should try just turning on feshasmode3 and see if that solves the issue.

Sorry for quoting this old post. Mine is a 40e and I tried to use these codes to have me car start in the eDrive mode I prefer, e.g. always start in Max eDrive. In my ECU the fesallowmode8lastfuncion is default to activ, but interestingly feshasmode8 is inactive, so I activated it. feslastfunctioninterval is already set to FF from previous coding as I want the car to start in sport mode.
But this doesn't enable my car to start in Max eDrive. When I stop the car in Max eDrive mode, and restart it will go back to Auto eDrive.

Has anyone 40e owner been successful in getting this to work?

Hey guys having some issues. Just purchased Bimmercode and I had purchased vgate icar pro ble 4.0. I had tried it before i had decided to purchase it and it connected to it before but forgot about how i connected it. I had turned on my car and i cant search for the vgate icar pro (im using iOS 14 latest version with the latest bimmercode app). I saw a youtube video and they said to open up the app and connect to it from the app but bimmercode wasnt able to conenct to it having connection issues ... whats the correct process? looking to code the LED lights on my 15 F15

No. I have eco pro as default tho. I like having to push the buttons. Make me feel like a fighter pilot.
