I'm trying to enable No Dazzle High Beams. I put the car in diagnostics mode, I read the FA, removed 5AP, saved, wrote it back to the car - all good. I managed to code ECUs (BDC_BODY3, HU_MGU, FLM2 [43], FLM2 [44], KAFAS4). Now I am stuck in FDL coding stage as the descriptions are not shown.

P.S. I tried to launch the eSys using E-Sys Launcher Premium V2.8.2.155, but I don't have the activation code. I requested it, but haven't received it yet.

I'd really appreciate any advice!

CAFD mapping not in Launcher PRO 2.8.2 Database. Need Launcher PRO 3.x or EsysX, neither of which is offically avaioble at moment, leaving only hacked Launcher PRO 3.x.

Thanks! I see. I would have paid for a Launcher PRO 3.x license to get it going...

Any chance someone can post a screenshot of CAFD_000040F9_013_004_026.ncd loaded on properly launched eSys, where the descriptions are available? I might be able to find my way with that...

I seriously doubt a single Sceen shot will work. Some CAFD have a 1000+ FDL Codes.

I'm doing some coding and I was going by the cheat sheet. It references cadf named hkfm and kafas but I only have hkfm2 and kafas2 and none of the function values appear under there the same as listed in the cheat sheet. am I missing something? today was my first time e-sys coding.

I have
launcher pro 2.8.2.162
e-sys 3.27.1
psdz file was 18 I think, I just used the versions in the guide I found on the forum and the psdz file was newer than my istep which it said was good to go

Can the open door and proximity gong/chime be coded Off or Low even when radio volume is up/loud? 🤔
I own a X5 M50i with B&O stereo.
Very obnoxious feature that needs to be fixed....

Yes (at least on the HK audio system)...the VOLUME of the warning gong & PDC (beeps) both can be lowered/raised in iDrive...it's found in SETTINGS ---> TONE ---> VOLUME SETTINGS ...you can then adjust the PDC (beeps) to your liking as well as the GONG.

I am using a pre-configured hdd and attempting to code my wife's '18 F15.

I was able to use E-Sys once and Activate the FA. I did backups and attempted to code one module.

It will not allow me to Activate the FA, now. This is the error I get:


Here is the E-Sys about box:


Am I too outdated? I do not understand why I was allowed to Activate the FA once, but not again?

I'm confused. Picture is error of FA, showing CarPLay and WLAN Hotspot are not supported in your FA, not an FA Activation error.
