No. Launcher just doesn’t open at all. I think it runs in the background then shuts down.

Hi all. Has anybody have any feedback on Rheingold ISTA diagnostic/coding/programming software? Does it require updates on a regular basis and how much those updates are if any?

Hi all,

Totally new here but the proud owner of a 2016 X5 50i. Just wanted to say thank you for all this comprehensive thread info.

As soon as I understood the whole situation with office missing on my vehicle I started check how to enable it if possible and possibilities of coding.

Looks like I'll be attempting myself via BimmerCode first, as well as enabling some other features, if possible of course:

- Courtesy lights in reverse
- Upgrade/enable office in iDrive
- mirror fold on lock
- hatch close from key / footwell switch
- M graphics on start up

Looking forward to giving it a go! Thank you for all your contributions and efforts!

Best Diagnostic tool for BMW's.

Hello!

My X5 came without heated seats. Now i installed new front seats with heating elements. Also changed climate control panel one with seat heating buttons.

Now is the tricky part of coding. I VO coded 494 but what else should i code to get seat heating to work?

Christmas animation on the F15 2018 model no linger works, instead you get an M animation, different than the M one from before with the road

It is what is standard on F90. No better or worse. Coding takes immediate affect, so you can try multiple animations in succession.

To all new owners reading this.....

Fear not if you’re missing features. I coded today using bimmercode and was easily able to enable:

- All office functions (text, email, etc.) confirmed working
- Mirror fold with fob and comfort close
- M animations / logos
- HUD indicators
- Door handle courtesy lights in reverse
- Digital speedometer on cluster
- Heated seat memory
- Rear camera zoom
- seatbelt reminder adjustments
- Disclaimer delete
- Liftgate close functions

The above took my 1 hr start to finish. Not rushing or doing too many at once (I did 2 or 3 at a time to be safe).

I also wanted to say huge thank you to everyone for the knowledge base here. It was so straight forward after reading a few articles, and with the help of all your hard work.

Hi is anyone free to (remotely) help me code?
I have a hitch program in my ‘15 and I’m looking to sell it. I’d like to clear the error since I removed the hitch. Unfortunately while I once had the software working I can’t get it functioning right now.
