Kept the productivity going and installed this digital vent gauge by VisiCan EU/VisiCan USA. I happen to be the first f15 with this installed and it went very smoothly. They were also very communicative through the prototyping process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for this sort of thing.

Always fun following your shenanigans. You're treating this thing like I'd treat one of my E30's or E46's. And I love it.

I'll miss our F15 for awhile. I'm sure we'll buy another in the future though.

Appreciate that man, trying to be methodical while also having fun. This in particular helps me keep an eye on vital signs in real-time which a data nerd like me always appreciates.

I had an e46 sedan for 8 years and still think about it, but given the state of the car market and future regulations, they’re just too unobtanium for me now so we’re taking this all the way.

Will be a long term build. Built gearbox, motor, full frame turbo kit etc.

They actually do, just don’t have it listed. I’m in talks with them to update their listings and so on so I’ll have them add that.

I may have asked you this in the past, but did you wrap your steering wheel yourself?

I did not, bought a wheel from Coby Wheel and sent my stock one in as a core.

Is it heated? If not, did you originally have a heated wheel?

Negative, I did not have one originally. But they do have the ability to provide heated wheels from my understanding.

Awesome. Last question. Is that an F15 wheel? Or from a different F chassis? I noticed on their website that F15 isn't listed.

It’s an f80 wheel. Any 1/2/3/4 series wheel fits but if you email them, they’ll set you up with an f85 wheel.

Saw it on there website that it was coming... Does it have the ability to get boost? Or is an external boost guage a better more valid option?

It has multiple screens and display options and can in fact read boost. I’d just go with this if you’re interested in it. They should have the website up and running by the weekend.

Blackstone Labs report came back clean again. Happy with that. Will likely still do VAC Rod Bearings and bolts at 80k for peace of mind.

I just went through this whole thread and all I can say is damn I'm impressed. Your car is so well sorted and its practically as fast at my 997 TT. Imagine that!! I'm going to be following this thread closely from now on.

Still ended up getting a cat efficiency code but worked with my tuner to tune it out so I pass everything for emissions.

That’s really kind of you to say. Coming from a 997 Turbo owner, I’ll take it as a win lol.

About a year ago I hit up Dan at BimmerHausPerformance to see if he'd be willing to build a front mount intake for the N55 F15 like he had for the F10. I annoyed him enough into having a customer come in and be able to prototype it. I ordered and ended up sitting on it for a while because of life things. Once I did get around to getting it installed, we learned I needed a slightly bigger inlet because of the hybrid Mosselman turbo so Dan had to make a new part and send it to me. While doing that, he also revised the MAF housing and sent me a new revision.

Now that its installed, I've confirmed through data logs that AFR's and fuel trims remain stable unlike some AFE intakes on the market that cause lean codes. Waste gate duty cycle seems to have reduced an additional five percent over my previous setup when hitting 16psi on 93 octane. Will continue to test higher boost levels once I get some ethanol back in the tank.

Overall, very happy with the results so far, more testing to come. Highly recommend this product.

Also added a titanium flex fuel badge because details.
