Nice looking X man. Wish I had regular Nappa seats and not vented. Much cleaner look.

Just my opinion here but I think your a bit over priced for the mileage, engine, and options. For perspective only I picked up my loaded (only missing night vision) '14 50i for just over $50k ($97k Sticker) last summer with 19k miles. Plus new G05 coming out in a few months.

Just something to think about. Either way good luck brother and for your sake i hope I'm wrong.

Price dropped. I appreciate thoughts on my listing price being high... though the car is in really good shape and would be a nice one to own. FYI I will take the best offer.

Very good exterior/interior combo....and most importantly, an open-minded seller.
Not sure if 35s are sellable in this forum, though, anymore.
I can only think of a handful of members whose 35 would sell.
Just bad timing overall with new model coming up. Good luck!

Thanks guys for your inputs. I'm not in hurry to sell but hopefully there's one who's looking for this ext/int combo. I'm definitely willing to work on the price!

The unfortunate truth is that these can be bought from BMW dealerships with a similar config, at times CPO, for around $36K/$37K.

For that reason, I decided to hold onto mine. The market has been flooded with end of lease 2015s.

Have you tried Carmax, or just trading it in?

I know... but this one has extended Maintenance program and ext set of 20" wheels with snow tires. No, I haven't tried Carmax yet. I posted this ad on Craigslist as well... we'll see. I'm getting few interests there.

Ya the extra set of oem 469s with snow tires is a big plus but not a huge selling factor to increase sale price. I would use that to help you gauge interest but you'd be better off selling them wheels with snow tires on the forum. Then again the M sport with 19" is not a great look imo. Lol

You can look at cpo.bmwusa.com and look at the competition from the CPO stock at BMW dealers. It’s a good tool, you can search by car model and year then narrow down by radius within a zip code and exact options you want.

CPO cars on lease returns will have warranty going out to around July 2020 at this point. If your extended warranty is later than that, you can possibly use that as a selling point. Your Mocha Interior is going to be very rare, if you are lucky enough to find someone looking for that, that will be helpful as well.

You should jump at the first offer you get over $35k on this.

Sad, but true. Typically, you should at least see some offers, even lowballing....but at least some movement so you can start bargain.

the problem is, the F15 literally has no differentiation within the engine trims. There's no LCI, no notable special options that came on later MY cars.

So you're purely competing on mileage and condition, especially if you don't have any warranty to pass on to the next buyer.

It's a combination of factors that make it difficult to sell.
35s are even more susceptible to lowballing due to myriad of them being on sale. 50s do stand out better.

The car is not overpriced. It may seem so, but it’s not.
- It has an extra set of wheels, worth around $2500.
- Typical lease returns have warranty out to July 2019 at this point (leased in July 2015). This car has warranty out to end of 2020. When I priced an extra year of extended warranty, the dealer started with $3500 ish, but of course you can negotiate that down if you really want it. That extra 1.5 years of warranty is worth maybe $1500 - $2000, and I think it’s worth it.

So to be truly comparable to lease returns, I think he is really asking around $38000 for a pretty loaded m sport. MSRP on this car is probably around $74000. I removed the $3500 for wheels and $2795 for extended warranty. Added back $950 for 20 inch wheels, $950 for multi count our seats, and $995 destination fee.

$38000 asking for a $74000 car is 51.3% residual, which is quite reasonable considering that BMW inflated residuals back in 2015 was 56% for 3yr/15k miles. I’d suggest the OP to sell the wheels separately. I agree with another poster about little differentiation in engine terms, especially in the 35s, so there is a ton of competition. The Mocha Interior Trim stands out so you should highlight that.

This is a decent deal if someone is specifically looking for a 35s m-sport with mocha interior with extended warranty and an extra set of wheels. I suspect no one like that exists. If you really want to sell, you should break it up.

OP purchased a maintenance program, not an extended warranty. Warranty on this vehicle is up in 6,500 miles, or roughly six months.
