Replaced my e70 diesel with an f15 diesel. The newer X5 has LED headlights and automatic high beams. Think I'll attempt the "glare-free high beams" coding.
May I have access to Esys, please? And thanks! |

Is there a way to code the sport suspension when in Eco mode? Our X5 is my wife's car, and she has a lead foot, so I coded the car to use Eco by default. However I don't like how "soft" the ride is and would prefer more stiff ride Sport mode allows.

Sport can be selected as default due to the SPORT mode having an individualization selection of CHASSIS or DRIVETRAIN or CHASSIS & DRIVETRAIN. If you code SPORT mode as default start mode...this allows you to have COMFORT & SPORT modes combined if you want the stiffer sport CHASSIS (steering) but the COMFORT drivetrain (tranny & suspension) settings..or vice versa (SPORT drivetrain & COMFORT chassis aka steering). ECO-PRO has its own individualization selections...if you look at any of those selections (sorry I don’t care for Eco-Pro so I can’t even think of what the individualization selections are )...does it allow you to make a selection that would remove anything and allow you to skip over the regular COMFORT default settings and go to one of the SPORT mode settings? EDIT: found an ECO PRO iDrive screen and it looks like configuring ECO PRO only allows selections for climate control & coasting: If you want to “stiffen” your X5’s handling...you definitely can do that by individualizing the sport mode and select CHASSIS only. This will leave the engine & transmission in COMFORT mode...then code the default start-up mode to SPORT. Your wife’s X5 will then have the sport “handling”...but the engine & transmission will operate as if in COMFORT mode. This is probably what your iDrive screen looks like for configuring SPORT mode: My X5 has the older NBT iDrive (ID4)...and the Sport individualization screen looks like this:

Hi everyone,
Still rather new to the whole coding (via BimmerCode App iPad) and coding my F15 X5. I was wondering if someone could clarify to me if I could buy 4 aftermarket TPMS sensors and fit them to my wheels and do some coding to my car to make them read Temp and Pressure for each wheel based on the build of my car 27 Nov 2013 and the below VIN Decoding Spec? I currently have the standard rubber valves and the overall system that tells you if you have loss of pressure ang can highlight which wheel. My 2014 6 series has the TPMS and I love it. Any guidance on the equipment I need to buy and what coding I will need to do would be greatly appreciated. I know this has been discussed before, but honestly I read that many forums now I am lost and confused lol. Also could someone tell me if I can code extended Bluetooth similar to my 6 series - so I can Bluetooth play my music? I already have the function to pull up phonebook and make calls etc. Thanks! You have the FTM/RPA (flat tire monitoring) system that uses the ABS wheel speed sensor to detect a change in rotational circumference to let you know that a tire has lost pressure. You would need to add additional hardware for that data to appear on your iDrive screen. Your 6 series has the TPM/RDC system that uses the sensor in each wheel along with the RDC control module that receives the data from those sensors then sends that data over the car's communication bus to the iDrive screen. You don't have the RDC control module connected to your communication bus. You can do a simple coding session to go the other way...from TPM to FTM...because both vehicles have ABS wheel speed sensors. But to go from FTM to TPM...requires other components besides coding.
