Tail gate soft close motor not working .

I think I figured out why my lift gate wasn't latching properly . After some tinkering around with the soft close motor and it's cable . I very lightly pulled on it's cable and it came right out . Best prices I could find . This would be for a 14 x5 35xi part numbers all look good .
