I was just talking to endurance and they gave me a quote for 3300 after 300 dollars discount 5 year 100K miles for my 2014 x5 50i with 87000 miles. I was reading some negative reviews about endurance though that they are really bad when it comes to filling a claim. Not sure how true that is but i am also looking around for warranty. Anyone heard of carcheck warranty or carsheild

Can anyone recommend a good option for past 100,000 miles? My dealership quoted me two years and 30,000 miles for $5000…

Are you looking for coverage past 100,000 miles or you currently have over 100,000 miles?

My quote was a 100k miles, so covered to 152,000 or 5 yrs - I’ve not purchased yet. I guess Steve Thomas BMW is with a comparison.

A savings account that you put money in every month and a reasonable independent euro shop.

Seriously though, these aftermarket warranty companies have such a bad reputation. For every 1 or 2 good experiences there are tens (or hundreds?) of bad ones. We always hated dealing with them at the shop I was at.

Hopefully someone has some suggestions for you as to which ones might be helpful in the event of a repair.

im at 104k now, CPO covered to 100k. Im looking for options to get a reasonably priced couple more years of coverage.

Yea, thats my thought too unless I can come up with something sensibly priced.

Endurance seems to be the cheapest but i am little reluctant cuz of reviews about payouts. Anyone else has anymore suggestions.

We can only sell our 3rd party warranty if you are local now due to an inspection that must be done on the vehicle. This only pertains to vehicles that are out of warranty.

I just bought a 2015 X5 35d this week with 46k miles and have been shopping extended warranties.
AutoPom 60 months Omega Exclusionary product to 101,000 miles with $100 deduct and 30 day waiting period; $5268, $263 down with 24 payments of $208.53

Endurance 60 months, Advantage Preferred 100,000 miles, $100 deduct (included a sort of maintenance pack as described earlier), 1 month waiting period; $5560, $297 down and $146.19 per month for 36 months. Max coverage is $12,000

Carchex (American Auto Shield Platinum) 36 months / 36k miles, $200 deduct with 30 day waiting period = $5312. Max coverage is $15,000

Does anyone know if max coverage is per incident or the life of the policy?

well that sucks now. i am not sure if its worth spending 5500 bucks on warranty and even if you spend less money like endurance whats the point if they are going to give you trouble when time comes for them to pay for repairs.

I’m about ready to stop researching and just keep the money aside…

I’d rather get CarPlay set up in the car, but there is much info it’s hard to pick the right path - features - setup

We're in the same boat since our extended warranties expire soon, but paying 10k+ for both the 50is doesn't make financial sense, I'd rather blow it on dodgecoin and hope to become a millionaire 😂
In all seriousness, since we're driving less and less we're going to pass and just pay out of pocket. We also have faith in the n63tu engine, both cars have been tanks literally.
